Obviously, healthy eating and regular exercise provide the foundation for weight loss. Hypnosis is certainly no replacement for these things - you can't "think away" the extra pounds. However, hypnotherapy can help you resist certain foods and stay focussed on your exercise regime. It works by seeding suggestions into your subconscious mind while under hypnosis. What kind of suggestions? Well, an example could be "I will eat more grilled fish and less fried red meat". Your subconscious mind is a very powerful tool, and can override the impulses of your conscious mind, so next time you feel like frying up some bacon, your subconscious mind will help you resist that urge and stick to your guns.
This may sounds like mind control and a be bit daunting perhaps, but the reality is that you are in control. None of this will work unless you want it to.
